Job Overview
We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and innovative Creative Content and Digital Marketing Expert to be the driving force behind our startup’s online presence. As the lead marketing member, you’ll play a crucial role in establishing our brand, creating engaging content, and implementing digital marketing strategies to attract and engage B2B clients. If you’re a self-starter with a creative flair and a knack for digital marketing, this role is for you.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Develop and execute strategic digital marketing plans tailored to B2B audiences, with a focus on lead generation and brand building.
- Craft compelling and impactful content across various digital platforms, including social media, website, blog, emails, and more.
- Define and uphold the brand’s tone, style, and visual identity to ensure consistency throughout all content.
- Create written, visual, and multimedia content that resonates with B2B decision-makers and aligns with business objectives.
- Manage and optimize social media profiles, encompassing content scheduling, interaction with the community, and monitoring of key metrics.
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and enhance organic search visibility.
- Analyze digital marketing performance through analytics tools, deriving insights to refine campaigns and strategies.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and B2B best practices in content creation and digital marketing.
- Collaborate with external resources like graphic designers and video editors to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, from content creation to list management and performance tracking.
- Adapt strategies in response to changes in social media algorithms, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.
- Experiment with new content formats and platforms, maintaining an agile approach to improve online presence.
What you’ll be bringing to the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management, preferably in a B2B context.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to tailor content for diverse B2B audiences.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media scheduling platforms, and email marketing software.
- Innovative mindset with the ability to conceive and propose creative content ideas.
- Strong grasp of SEO principles and best practices for B2B marketing.
- Exceptional project management and multitasking skills, capable of meeting deadlines independently.
- Solid understanding of branding, ensuring consistent representation across different channels.
- Knowledge of graphic design, video editing, or other multimedia skills is a valuable asset.
- Awareness of current trends and emerging technologies in digital marketing and content creation for B2B markets.
Location: This position is remote. However if you are located in our headquarter city of Montreal, Quebec this is a definite plus.
