Employee Administration Permissions
You may have employees within various levels of management in your business, and adjusting how each level of management can access your PodiumIO account is now an option! With the newly added Employee Permissions, you can assign some employees as Admins, while restricting other employees to basic features.
Control employee access within your PodiumIO account for added security, and allow employees to become Admins to help you take care of important aspects of your business, such as invoicing and reporting, and even allow your Admins to manage other employees.

Masking your Customer’s Deleted Data
From time to time, an old customer could request for their data to be “forgotten” in your PodiumIO account once you are no longer servicing them. A common request might be to have their personal information deleted, such as their banking details or address. That’s where the option to Delete and Mask Sensitive Data comes in! This new feature allows you to render a deleted customer’s personal data as unreadable.
You can rest easy knowing your old customer’s personal data remains secure after deleting your customer, and, you can retain your customer’s revenue data for accurate overall numbers, even after masking and deleting their personal data.

Customizing your Booking Summary – Creating your Real-Time Booking Pages
The Booking Summary is a display showing the running total of all of the charges a customer has chosen at checkout in a Booking Page. It changes and updates in real-time, depending on what services a customer selects or deletes during checkout.
The Booking Summary is now completely customizable. There are options to:

Booking Notes
Set notes on bookings to make sure important details about a Booking aren’t lost. Set notes for one booking, or on a recurring booking. Control who can see the note by adding it to the corresponding field.
Notes entered on the left side will show for a single booking only (single occurrence).
Notes entered on the right side will show for every recurring booking. (multiple occurrence).
- In the top fields, are notes that are viewable by your customers.
- In the middle fields, are notes that are viewable by your service providers
- In the bottom fields, are notes are viewable by administrators only.

Update Service Provider’s Profiles by Adding Photos

Batch-Invoicing – Batch multiple bookings from one customer into a single Invoice
Batch invoice (Grow Feature) – Making Collections Much Easier and Faster
Batch multiple bookings from one customer into a single Invoice and then send a single invoice with all selected bookings to your customer. You can combine multiple bookings into an invoice at once in a single window. Preview and send the invoice with a click. Here are 2 scenarios to explain how this new feature can benefit you –
Scenario 1:
John does a weekly service and charges his customer by end of each completed service. He can now send one single invoice at the end of the month.
Scenario 2:
Maria’s team provides daily cleaning for a commercial office building customer. At the end of each month, she can now batch all the cleaning services (bookings) for the month and charge in one click.

Batch-Booking Payments (Charge Multiple Booking at once)
Batch multiple customer bookings into one single payment transaction. For each customer, simply select the bookings you want to batch into one payment transaction and charge your customer with one click.
To charge multiple bookings at once, simply go to the customer profile, click “Charge customer”, Select the booking(s) you would like to charge.
How does this benefit you?

Pre-authorize the Booking Amount Anytime
Take more control over your payments by preauthorizing the booking amount anytime the payment has been released. A booking pre-authorization is released by you or by STRIPE’s auto release feature after 7 days, you can pre-authorize the same booking again by simply clicking on the Preauthorization button.
How does this benefit you? Protect your business from fraud, and minimize declines. Pre-authorization helps to reduce the risk of not getting paid. Learn more
Add a company name in the customer profile
Dealing with a commercial client? Now you can add a “Company name” under the customer profile.
How does this benefit you?
1. Easily track the companies you are working for.
2. The invoice will also reflect the company name, making it look even more professional.

Add Billing ONLY Email and Address
Want to send invoices to a separate email other than your customer email? Now add a billing email. You can also select to only send invoices to the billing email address. Also, a separate billing address can be added other than the service area address. To add a billing address, select the customer and click on edit. Learn more
Easily Modify Taxes for the Booking
A tax rate is applied to the bookings based on the selected tax rate on your booking page or the one that you choose while creating a call-in booking. With the recent enhancement to the tax feature, you can now choose a different tax rate even after the booking is created. Learn more
Operator Notes only
Add notes that are visible only to your Service Providers and not your customers. These notes will be visible to your Service Provider in their Mobile App. They can be added under a booking profile.

Secondary Customer Email
You can add an additional customer email (Under edit customer profile). This will send the email notifications like booking reminders, booking rescheduled, Service provider on the way, running late, checked in-checked out to both the emails.
Sort Service Providers
You can now sort how your Service Providers appear in Dispatching. In the service provider view, use the up and down arrows to change the sequence in which they will appear both here and in Dispatcher. Your Service Provider will now be sorted as per your preference under the Service Providers List as well as in Dispatcher.
Detailed Sales Report now displays the frequency
This recent enhancement to the report now gives you a complete overview of the sales with the frequency of the service (like one-time, every week, etc) Check out the report now > Go to Reports

Export Hot Leads in csv. format
Sell more by connecting with Hot Leads at the right time. If those hot leads still haven’t got converted to a booking, you can now export the hot leads and send them engagement emails from the platform of your choice. If you haven’t yet turned “ON” your hot leads, do it now and start receiving notifications when someone starts to fill in the information on the booking page.

Quickbooks Online (QBO) Integration
We are excited to launch Quickbooks online integration (Grow feature). The main focus of integration is to ease Bookkeeping activities and double-entry across PodiumIO and QuickBooks.
Our QuickBooks integration allows you to sync the following transactions from PodiumIO to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account:
- any payment captured for Bookings (as Sales Receipt in QBO)
- when a payment is refunded for Bookings (as Refunds in QBO)

Allow customers to easily reschedule or cancel their bookings through the “Customer Portal”
Enjoy the latest additions to the customer portal. Now your customers can cancel and/or reschedule appointments directly from the customer portal. Please note. You have to allow your customer to self-cancel or self-reschedule, in the booking page settings.
Call-in bookings made easier for the customer with multiple locations (with the new search option)
While creating a call-in booking, under locations > The new search option shares all the secondary addresses, in the dropdown. Simply select the desired location and you’re done! Creating bookings for customers with multiple locations is now much easier.

Customer Portal
The Customer portal will allow your customers to sign in to a secure platform to view their upcoming appointments and details.
Being a mobile responsive site it gives your customers access to view all their upcoming appointments and their details like service location, service type, payment information, recent charges, who will be visiting, etc. from the phone.

Visual Alerts when a Service Provider is Double Booked
How can you determine if a Service Provider has been double-booked?
PodiumIO now visually displays alerts of any booking where a Service Provider(s) has been double booked. PodiumIO will instantly mark them in Red + Diagonal stripes, including a triangular warning label, You won’t miss it.
You will see the double booking alert in your dashboard as well as in your calendar, dispatching, and all other main feature tabs.
Assign the same Service Provider(s) to a customers’ recurring booking
We know how important it is for many of your customers to have the same Service Provider(s) assigned to their recurring bookings.
For obvious security and/or consistency reasons, this is even more important for residential consumers ( ex. home cleaning, lawn care, mobile detailing) or for personal care services (ex. massage therapist) who have a natural preference to see the same service provider coming to their home.
With just one click (or drag’n drop) you can now assign the same Service Provider(s) to all future occurrences of the same customer booking.
For example, If your customer has booked a monthly window cleaning service, you can assign the same Service Provider (window cleaner) to all the monthly bookings made by this customer.
